Christian Riders Ministry (CRM) moved its headquarters to Highmore in 1999 from Florida. It continues to be a nationwide motorcycle ministry though with it roots deep within both the biker subculture and the Body of Christ. Unlike many other motorcycle ministries, CRM exist solely as an evangelic outreach. Our members are few yet all are committed to full-time ministry. DQ & Beth Roberts founded CRM in 1991 after making a life changing commitment to Jesus Christ. Their focus and desire has remained consistent: to reach the motorcyclist with the Great News of Jesus Christ and to challenge churches to be more receptive of all people.
The ministry has continued to grow and be blessed since coming to Highmore. In 2004, the Ministry was able to buy a building on Iowa Street (formerly knows as Ray's Second Hand Store). The dream for this property is huge and includes office space and storage, a coffee house retreat and a teen hang out center. Before these dreams become a reality, much work will be put into the building starting with a new truss roof in 2005, God willing.
